"You don't mind working out at my place tonight, do you?" asked John "No, it's cool," Robert replied, "as long as I get my all reps in, I really don't give a shit!" "Good," John said, "then let's get to it!" Both men were serious bodybuilders who spent much more time and energy working out than the average ever "joe" would, and it wouldn't be unusual for either of them to spend five hours a night lifting and pulling the iron plates that gave them the heavily muscled appearance they so loved! John had invested big money into a total home gym and this was the first time his friend Robert had seen it. "Wow," he marveled, "this is fucking great, you don't even have to leave home to get in your workout!!!" "I know," John said beaming, while running his hand over the huge apparatus, "it cost me almost four thousand bucks, but it's worth it, no more running back and forth to the gym!!!" "You first," John offered, "benches?!?" "Yeah, benches, set it at one seventy to start," Robert replied! While John was adjusting the machine to one hundred and seventy pounds, Robert lay down on his back and got ready to do a set of bench presses. When he was finished, they traded places and John took his turn while Robert spotted. After that, they went through a long series of lifts, alternating back and forth between lifting and spotting. After a particularly rough set of drop-and-squats, both men decided to take a breather and have an energy drink. "Fuck it's hot in here," Robert commented, as he took a long gulp from the bottle. "Yeah, air conditioner's busted," John replied, "do you want me to crack the windows a little!?!" "Fuck it," Robin shot back, "I always feel like I'm doing more when I build up a sweat, ya' know?" "Yeah, I do too," John answered back, "my muscles always look better when they're gleaming from sweat. Makes them look like I oiled up" "Hey," Robert asked, "do ya have a posing mirror, I'd kinda like to see what I those last presses did?" "Right over here," John replied, as he pulled open a door that hid a full length mirror ideal for muscle posing. Robin stepped in front of it, and went through a series of bodybuilding poses, stopping at the end of each one to admire himself in the mirror! "Ya know, Rob," John offered, "you can't really tell what you look like with those sweats on, why don't you take them off so you can see what you've got?"
